Iran-Saudi Tensions Escalate After Alleged Assasination Attempt

The alleged involvement of Iranians in a plot to kill the Saudi ambassador in the United States adds another layer of uncertainty in the region and escalation of tension between Riyadh and Tehran.

It doesn’t take long for sunny Middle East to turn dark.

The United States and Mexican authorities arrested two men on October 11, who the U.S. Department of Justice claims are ‘elements of the Iranian government’ and were planning to kill the Saudi ambassador to the U.S. as part of a grand ‘opening act’ to wreak havoc. READ MORE HERE
